E-ring for HIM....?
Now that my ring has been selected, we've been frantically searching for HIS e-ring... we already know what wedding band we'll order for him (Scott Kay "Vintage" 8mm in 19K white gold), but we would like a symbol of the engagement for him as well... something a bit more casual, less ornate (and something he won't be worried about getting scratched up when he's on the bike, at work, etc...)
So have any of you other ladies gotten your FH's/DH's e-rings? Every jewelry store we've been to, we're met with surprise and shock at the very concept!!

That was the exact same response we got!
I think it's still pretty uncommon, but we were both happy with the concept.
We got a stainless steel band, it's worn well, and like I said, he wears it on his right hand now.

We like the concept as well.... The responses we get are funny though. Younger women think it's a cool idea (we get a lot of "Awwwwww...." with the headtilt), but it seems the older (and presumably more traditional) the salesperson, the more befuddled they are!
We've been looking at titanium, tungsten carbide (though I think I've ruled that out... just not safe), and very simple white gold flat bands. And he'll do the same -- move it to his right hand once we're married.
